I got a new male hamster !!HELP!PLEASE?

hes a panda bear and i have his vitamines and all of that stuff but do i need to get new stuff for him to sleep and gto to the bathroom in bcause im allergic to the stuff we got and i got him 2 days ago should i get new chip things and more toys ? he has those chewing thing and i dont wanna gib=ve him a tp role cause my other hamster died what eles do i need i have a cage of course and my sis wants 1 too in a seperate cage what kind shuold she get ? she wants a big female!! mines only a mounth and he is big!! and is it normale for the hamster to have like little red dots on his feeT did he bite them shuold i bring him to the vet? PLEASE HELP

A panda bear hamster is a colour variety of the species Syrian hamsters. they DO NOT enjoy the company of other hamsters. If your sister gets another hamster, then you need a separate cage for that hamster.

At one month old, a Syrian hamster is almost at their adult size. They mature quite young, so they grow up fast.

As far as hamster accessories, a wheel is a must, a ball is good.. some hamsters enjoy knawing on and running through toilet paper rolls..

I'm not sure what you mean by little red dots. Are they a skin irritation? What type of bedding (shavings) do you have for your hamster? If they are cedar shavings, I suggest to get different shavings. Cedar has an oil in it that hamsters can't tolerate very well.

Another thought - the red dots could be mites. If you look very closely and see that they're actually tiny bugs, then replace ALL the shavings with something new. Mites aren't uncommon and they won't harm anyone, but too many mites will irritate your hamster.
