Why does China feel that they should control the population of the endangered pandas when they are infamouse with importing endangered species from all over the world into Chinia to be used as food and medicine, i.e. tigers, pangolins and the world turles and tortoises? But the US and other counrties have to lease pandas at millions of dollars per year? Does this make sense?

Actually - I think the Chinese actually have it right with the Pandas. Its a national treasure and an exclusive resource. And they've done a lot to preserve the species.

Its almost everything else that needs help.
i never knew that, but thats so uncool!

maybe thats why weve got no pandas in dublin zoo.we're too cheap. (our polar bear had a mental breakdown from claustrophobia :( )

although, pandas are better off in reservations than in zoos.
