I believe that we were not so intelligently designed as perhaps we were ''set'' down a path of evolution by a creator and whatever the results are so be it. The reason I think this is............if you were immortal, would live forever, wouldn't you want a few billion years to just watch the universe play out like a movie. To watch things as they naturally came to be. I would imagine that the vast ocean of eternity would just make me insane therefore I don't think that its inconceivable to believe that an omnipotent creator would create something just for the pleasure of watching it grow...
