Why won't Vista accept an internet address when XP will?

I just got a new computer that has Vista Home Premium. An address that we use a lot is http://218.89.33.193/home/homeJ.html will not open on my new computer. I have used three different browsers (IE7, Firefox, and Avant with the same result). In my security options it's set to medium level as it was with XP, but still no success. Any help would be appreciated as we'd love to be able to visit this panda cam at the Wolong Panda Preserve daily as we did on the previous computer. Thanks,

try searching for the original site on your search engine and click on all the links until you get where you want

Maybe your Vista does not support the Chinese characters or language?
Hmmm...I have Vista Home Premium and I can access that site just fine. And my security settings in the Internet Zone are set even stricter than yours at the default of ''Medium High''. Of course, I cannot actually view the web-cam as It asks for my password.

Where can I watch Studio Ghibli anime online, for free?viruses

Not everyone has the luxury of simply buying anime DVDs. Some are pretty rare. Miyasaki's most sucessful ones like Princess Mononoke are sometimes hidden in the back of supermarket shelves but apart things like Beyblade, I've never found any in any video rental shops.

I live in Northern Ireland, not America or England, and no one I know has even heard of anime, as soon as I say Japanese they dismiss it.

Anyway, Purple_Lily_76, you probably heard it all before but Veoh.com is pretty reliable for anything, especially anime and movies. My username there is Nightstar1, if you join and send me a message there I can send you any anime you like, and suggest other good ones.

Go to markets they have cheap hoodies with funky designs for around 20 dollars. I don't know about the ears though lol perhaps you could find some and sew them on? Who knows but there's definatelty a hoodie out there with your pattern on it... i agree with other answers your chances of finding it are increased if you look in those cute asian shops they have all sorts of sweet designs.

Why is my computer so slow????

Ok, I don't really have much on the computer, I have Panda Anti-Virus which is really good, I frequently delete temporary files and cookies, do disk cleanup and run almost daily virus scans...but yet my computer is slow???? I don't know why? When we first re-booted windows it was super fast and it just bogged out slowly. I also have weird things that have happened like some things that I have installed AREN'T on my add/remove programs?? Can I reformat my hard drive? How if so? Should I reboot again? The first thing I downloaded after rebooting was Panda....could there still be a virus somewhere in there that it can't find? Also, are there really such things as good registry cleaners? Any free ones if so? Thanks!!!

If PANDA is new, did you remove your old antivirus from the control panel / add remove programs. even though you may have an old expired AV, it is still probably running in the background. Remove it completely from your PC and I think you'll get better results. Also do you have an anti spyware? Spyware can cause a lot of slow down problems also.
I am a little wary of registry cleaners for fear of messing up the critical system info. Something that you havent mentioned doing is checking your fragmentation. Especially if you have been deleting a lot of stuff, its likely that the drive is cluttered and if it is, thats a reason for this slowdown. Check that out.
Sounds like you're doing all the right things. Cleaning up your desktop using ''desktop wizard'' (right click on desktop) will help. Also limiting the amout of start-up programs running in the background.
You may not have a virus but most likely have spyware or other junk if you spend much time online at all.

I know poetry very well, and I'd say that every single one is a limerick besides ''my panda''. the lines ''The last one to try Is not still alive'' doesn't rhyme, but it's still a good poem anyway. I like ''Baseball'' because at the end you add *shakes fist angrily* it adds a nice touch.

A setup for 20 gallon?

i am cycling a 20 gallon tank and already have fish in another tank that is going in the 20 are 1 angel fish and 2 glass tetras. i have to work around the angel because i dont want any problems so i was think or know that angels do best in pairs.and tetras do best in schools of 6 or more

so my list is

2 angel fish

6 glass tetras

im planning on putting corys in to add somthing on all levels of the tank,i think they like schools too right??can you put albino corys and panda corys and the common black cory and call that the school or do they like the same color in order to be happy ex.2 albino 2 black 2 panda=6 a school right?? what else can i add or is this too much??

I think your fairly stocked with 6 Cories, 6 Glass Tetras and 2 Angelfish. I wouldn't really add any more cories or tetras. When your angels grows, they should be put into a different outgrow tank.

Yes. Different species of cories school together but I like the effect that a school would with the same species. I would choose the Panda Cory since they are pretty common and they stay fairly small.

I recommend that you put the cories first so that they could settle in first and claim their own territory. Also, the tetras should be put after the cories settle up. It's usually best to put the most sem-aggressive or aggresive fish later so that they can't bully any weak fish.
